The 4th grade will host a parent involvement event supporting our Science and Engineering TEKS in the Force and Motion Unit. Students have prepared their Scientific Method outline using the question, "How does the height of an inclined plane affect how fast a toy car reaches a fixed point?" They have formulated a hypothesis, identified materials, and outlined their testing procedure.
Now, the fun begins, and they need your help! Students will collect data by conducting the test runs themselves. With your assistance, they will evaluate their hypothesis and write a conclusion that addresses the question. Not only will they engage in a hands-on experiment, but they will also practice the Scientific Method in preparation for the Science Fair. Join us and immerse yourself in science at SES!

This month, we come together to shine a light on a critical issue: fentanyl poisoning. Fentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid that has taken far too many lives. But together, we can make a difference.
