It is time for your child to sign up to tryout for an Academic UIL event. Depending on the child's grade, there are multiple events for which they can tryout. This includes Creative Writing, Art, Oral Reading, Maps-Graphs-Charts, Social Studies, Chess Puzzle and MORE!

As we continue to celebrate Principals Month, we want to give a huge shout-out to our Smithville Elementary Principal, Mrs. Brockman! She has been with SISD for several years, but is in her first year as Principal. We are grateful for her!

This year at Smithville Elementary, our theme is "Learning Looks Good on You." We invite students and parents to demonstrate their school spirit by purchasing a school shirt.
Students will bring home order forms for a short-sleeved shirt, hoodie, or sweatshirt.
