📌📌September Board Recap📌📌
See the highlights from our September School Board meeting

Each year, during the week that includes September 17, Texas schools honor Celebrate Freedom Week to highlight the values and ideals on which the United States was founded as well as the sacrifices that were made for freedom in the founding of the country.
Students learn about the intent, meaning, and importance of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, including the Bill of Rights, and examine the relationship between the ideas in these documents and subsequent American history.

Smithville ISD honors those who lost their lives and the heroes who saved so many on September 11, 2001.
We will always remember...

A few reminders
Good morning families,
We're so excited to have everyone back and settled into our school routine. We have a few important reminders to keep things running smoothly and safely for our students.
Please use the circle drive for all student drop-offs and pick-ups. The side streets (Bishop and Wilkes) are reserved for true walkers who live in the surrounding neighborhood. Dropping off or picking up students on these streets creates a safety hazard for everyone.
Breakfast is served daily from 7:15 to 7:40 AM.
All students should be in their classrooms ready to learn by 7:45 AM.
Thanks for your cooperation in helping us keep our students safe!
