We are passing the "Tiger Torch" to Rhett! Rhett took it upon himself to write a letter to the Principal requesting more sports equipment to play with during recess and it worked! We are so proud of his leadership, take-charge attitude, and his hard work in improving his writing skills. Way to go, Rhett!

What a great turnout for our Open House and Rafflemania fundraiser! Thanks to all our families who attended, and to the Booster Club for making this such a success!
Don't forget that Spring Break is next week! Smithville ISD will be closed March 11th - 15th for the holiday. All students will return on Monday, March 18th.
Parents-emergency vehicles are currently on the SES campus responding to a medical emergency involving a staff member. All students are safe and on their way home. Thank you.

SISD is exploring the possibility of offering extended care for students who do not qualify for ACE for the 2024-2025 school year.
The program would follow the ACE calendar for days of operation. Programming would run from dismissal to 5:30 p.m. Students can be picked up, dismissed with walkers or ride the after school bus home. There is no penalty for attendance or early pick ups in paid programming.

Congratulation to the "Tiger Team"! This group of SES students competed in their first ever Destination Imagination (DI) contest this weekend and placed 1st! They will be advancing to the State DI Competition in Arlington, TX! We are so proud of them!
