🐯 Important Arrival Reminder for Tiger Families! 🐯

Just a quick reminder about our morning arrival procedures:

⏰ Students are considered tardy at 7:45 AM.

If your student arrives at school at or after 7:45 AM, a parent or guardian must come into the office and sign the student in.

Students should not be dropped off to walk into the building on their own after 7:45 AM.

πŸ“ Please come to the office to complete the sign-in process, and don’t forget your photo ID!

Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and ensure attendance is recorded correctly! πŸ§‘πŸ–€

Meet The Teacher

Dear Smithville Elementary Families,

As we prepare for an exciting new school year, we want to share our updated arrival and dismissal procedures. Our goal is to make dismissal as safe, organized, and efficient as possible for all students and families.

Please review the attached maps carefully, as there have been some changes to our afternoon dismissal locations.

Afternoon Dismissal

**Inside Lane (Closest to the Curb)**

* **1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students** (without siblings) will be picked up in the inside lane closest to the curb.

**Outside Lane (crosses over to Building 3 gate)**

* **All students with siblings**, regardless of grade level, will be picked up in the outside lane near **Building 3 gate**. This allows families with multiple children to make one convenient stop.

**Old Gym Pickup (Wilkes Street Side)**

* **4th and 5th grade students** (without siblings) will be picked up at the **Old Gym on the Wilkes Street side**.

* **Daycare pickups** will also take place at the Old Gym.

Morning Arrival

Morning arrival procedures will remain the same. Please use the attached map as a reminder of traffic flow and designated drop-off locations.

These adjustments will help improve traffic flow and reduce wait times while ensuring all students are dismissed safely. We appreciate your patience during the first few days of school as everyone learns the new procedures.

Thank you for partnering with us to make arrival and dismissal safe and successful. We can't wait to welcome our Tigers back for another amazing year!
