Hi, I am honored to be serving in my third year as the principal of Smithville Elementary! Our family is starting our tenth year in this awesome community and are honored to call Smithville home. I graduated with my bachelors from Angelo State University and masters from Wayland Baptist University. I have proudly served education in the role of teacher and assistant principal prior to my current position.
Our theme this year is "Growing Greatness" at SES. We passionately lead the charge of growing greatness in our students, staff and all involved in our school. Through goal setting, continual monitoring of progress and facing challenges with determination; our school will provide support to grow greatness in each and every child. They are the reason we are here and we are thrilled to serve the kids of Smithville Elementary.
I am also a proud wife and mother. My husband, Jason, shares my passion for education and serves in BISD. Our daughter is a sophomore at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, starting in the nursing program this fall, go CRU! Our son is a sophomore at Smithville High school, keeping us on the go with band, basketball and tennis, go Tigers! I truly believe I am here for a reason and know I am blessed to impact lives daily!
I look forward to seeing you on campus. Please take time to be involved in your child's education, together we will achieve greatness!
Cherish yesterday, dream tomorrow, live today!
